Bush's Last Prayer?

Oh heavenly Father, I come to You in prayer.

It's been tough weeks in Oval Office. In fact, it's been pretty tough months. Oh, heck, who am I kidding, it's been pretty tough darn year, if You know what I mean! Oh, really? You do? Oh, well yeah, of course You do, of course! Sorry about that, but I'm kinda confused right now. I mean, You told me to strike at al Qaeda and I struck at them. And then You instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did. But now things in Iraq aren't going very well, terra-ists are blowing up stuff all over the world, the people here in America are turning against me and I'd just kind of like to, well, You know...know what gives. Did I do something wrong? Did I do something to displease you? Is there something else I should have done or something else I should start doing? Because I'm really just not sure what to do next. It's not that I haven't thought about it, it's not that I haven't tried to come up with something. I have! Good Lord, You know that! I mean I've done some crazy things! I finally started listening to Powell...well, at least a little bit. I'm bucking Cheney's advice and trying to get rid of Chalabi. And I even went back to the UN, which I NEVER thought I'd do. But what choice did I have? I mean I couldn't think of anything else. I was really hoping something besides that would pop into my head and I'm still hoping but it hadn't yet. So...I'd just like to ask You...well...are You planning on popping anything in there anytime soon? I would really appreciate it. But I feel like maybe You're not going to do that. Yes, yes, I know it sounds like maybe I'm losing faith in You a little bit but I can't seem to help it. Because it seems like things have gotten really out of hand and I can't figure out why You've let all this happen to me. I know, I know, I'm not supposed to think things like that but what else can I think? I mean, I had to go back to the *UN*, for Chrissakes! My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me!!!???
